Mila Kunis Confesses Advice to Daughter Was a "Parenting Fail"

It force out be easy to forget that celebrities are people, too. But sometimes they share a story that's so relatable it helps to renormalize some of the struggles we all face. Mila Kunis recently rung about a time she "failing" arsenic a parent, and information technology's another parenting confession that is super relatable to everyone who has ever wanted to punch back at a dandy.

Actress Mila Kunis is a mom to two kids, 6-year-old daughter Wyatt Isabelle, and 4-year-old Word Dimitri Portwood. She and her husband, Sir Frederick Ashton Kutcher, seem to be very down-to-earth kind of parents. Even though some are celebrities, Mila and Ashton are not panic-stricken to percentage the parenting strategies they swear on.

The last confession – that they don't bathe their kids each day – had the whole internet talking. And Mila might have sparked other conversation, this time about teaching her daughter to stand up for herself.

As a client on Ellen Integer's Mom Confessions web series, Mila opened in the lead about a prison term that she gave her girl some advice. Advice that Ashton didn't agree thereupon she's at once calling a "fail."

"At that place was a elflike kid in my kid's preschool that wasn't very kind and pushed my daughter," Mila begins. "My girl came rearward and was like, 'Such and much little kiddo pushed Pine Tree State.' And I instinctually said, 'Did you push her back?' And my daughter's like, 'No!' "

Wise her confession might "go [her] in trouble," Mila aforementioned that she told her daughter how to handle the situation in the future. "Agitate her back next time," she aforementioned, "and say no thank you and walk off."

Her hubby overheard the conversation and Mila recalls "seeing Ashton's face and he's like-minded, 'Zero!'" Apparently, he was dismayed with the advice, and and then she walked it back a spot.

"You get u for yourself and say no give thanks you," she remembers adding to the conversation with her girl. "Preceptor't advertize her soured of a ravel, away of a swing, or off of a slide, merely along the ground, even up Steven, you pushing her back."

"I'd say that that's a parenting fail," she confessed.

There's no guiding enchiridion for parents that cover everything we should – or shouldn't – instruct our kids. So, we do the uncomparable we hindquarters, infusing what worked when we were growing raised and any new tips we learn along the way. When it comes to teaching our kids close to standing up for themselves, it's non always clear what the best advice is.
